What am I purchasing?
You are purchasing an unpainted resin garage kit. Garage kits are hobby models intended for collectors, model builders, and painters. Kits arrive unassembled and unpainted unless otherwise stated.
Are the models painted?
No. Models are shipped unpainted and unassembled. Product photos are provided to show the intended appearance of the completed kit and to help guide painting and assembly.
What material are the kits printed in?
All kits are produced using high-quality UV-cured resin selected for excellent detail reproduction and durability. Resin type may vary depending on the requirements of the specific model.
Do the kits require assembly?
Yes. Most garage kits require some degree of assembly. Parts may need to be test fitted, glued, pinned, or otherwise assembled before painting and display.
Assembly complexity is listed on each product page to help hobbyists choose projects that match their experience level.
How difficult are the kits to paint?
Each product includes a painting difficulty rating:
- 🟢 Beginner – Suitable for newer painters.
- 🟡 Intermediate – Requires moderate painting experience.
- 🟠 Advanced – Includes more complex details, color transitions, or effects.
- 🔴 Expert – Intended for experienced painters seeking a challenging project.
These ratings are intended as general guidance and may vary based on individual skill level.
What does "Clear Resin Available" mean?
Some models contain effects, accessories, or translucent elements that can be printed in clear resin.
If a product supports clear resin customization, a customization field will appear on the product page where you can specify which parts you would like printed in clear resin.
If no request is provided, eligible parts may be printed in standard resin at our discretion.
Are the kits cleaned and cured?
Yes. All kits are cleaned, fully cured, inspected, and carefully packaged prior to shipment.
Minor support marks, seam lines, or light cleanup work may still be required as part of normal garage kit preparation.
How long does production take?
All models are produced to order.
Most orders require approximately 2–3 weeks for printing, processing, quality inspection, and packaging before shipment.
Larger orders, complex models, or periods of high demand may require additional production time.
How long does shipping take?
After production is complete, most domestic shipments arrive within 3–5 business days.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on carrier performance, weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside our control.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, FaTaL3DPrints primarily serves customers within the United States.
International shipping availability may change in the future.
What if a part arrives damaged or is missing?
If your order arrives with missing or damaged parts, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the issue
- A description of the affected parts
We will work with you to determine an appropriate resolution.
Can I request custom modifications?
Minor customization requests, such as clear resin effects, may be available on eligible models.
At this time, extensive modifications, rescaling, kitbashing, or redesign requests are generally not offered.
Are these official products?
No. Unless specifically stated otherwise, products sold by FaTaL3DPrints are unofficial fan-created collectible models and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with any copyright holder, trademark owner, game studio, publisher, or intellectual property owner.
Can I sell copies of the kits I purchase?
No. Purchasing a physical print does not transfer any intellectual property rights, commercial rights, or reproduction rights associated with the underlying model.
Do you accept returns?
Because all products are made to order, returns and refunds are generally not accepted.
